eter "Tommo" Tompkin has played for Terling for nearly 20 years, initially as a right handed opening batsman, and then more recently as a bowler of gentle medium pace with the emphasis very much on line and length. Over the last 2 decades of service, he has worked his way in to the unenviable position of being the child welfare officer, fixture secretary, club secretary etc etc... barring groundsman and President he has almost every role covered! His main contribution to the club has been a display of staggering incompetence in the field, most notably in the inability to catch even the simplest of chances... Arguably the most intelligent player in our ranks, 2018 could be his comeback season, following a disappointing 2017 due to niggling injury.
